It's the "touch bezel", which is the silver frame around the watch face designed to make it easier for selecting navigation options. It may seem complicated at first, but learning a few simple techniques can get you on your way in no time.

To navigate the multifunction touch bezel, you need to learn how to Tap, Touch and Hold, Double Press and Touch and Drag.

To tap, just slightly press your finger to: select, go to a menu option or change pages.

To touch and hold: simply hold your finger on one of the four areas to switch modes. The four touch bezel areas are time/date, GPS, menu and training.
